What illnesses do you treat?

Dr. Rubinfeld has a particular interest in anxiety and OCD related disorders, women’s mental health, and reproductive psychiatry. Dr. Rubinfeld is experienced in treating the full spectrum of psychiatric illness.

Are you currently accepting new patients?

We are currently not taking new patients at this time. We anticipate reopening new patient appointments in the late Spring/ early Summer. If you would like to be put on our waiting list please send us your info and we will contact you when appointments open.

Which insurances do you take?

What are your self pay rates?

For those choosing not to use their insurance, we offer a self pay rate of $425 for an intake assessment and $250 for a follow up appointment. We are happy to provide a super bill if you are using out of network benefits.

Are all visits virtual?

Most visits are virtual, and we require that patients be in the state of NY for their appointments. Please make sure to be in a quiet and private space. For specific cases, in person visits are possible. Please reach out to discuss further.

What is your policy on controlled substances?

We rarely prescribe controlled substances. In certain situations where they are clinically indicated, we require all patients to be seen monthly. Please note, there may come a time in the near future where controlled substance patients need to be seen in person, based on state and federal regulations.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We ask all patients give 24 hour notice should they need to cancel an appointment. If not, we reserve the right to charge a no show fee of $200. Emergencies and special circumstances will be taken into consideration.
